Financial Planning Analyst
Location: NorthBrook, Illinois

The Financial Analyst plays a vital role in the Company’s financial forecasting, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis, data analysis and reporting and special projects. This individual will work cross functionally to generate financial forecast and budgets, while providing financial support to senior management that includes preparing forecasts, financial presentations, scenario plans and other projects requested by senior management. This individual will also assist with acquisition analysis and system integration support.

Principle Responsibilities include:
Preparation of financial and business related analysis and research in areas such as financial and expense performances cost of sales, cash flow forecasting and working capital.
Preparation of consolidated forecasts and budgets.
Analysis of trend in revenue generation, expenses, capital expenditures operating metrics and other related areas. 
Assistance with special financial and business related studies cooperates with other departments in preparing analysis.
 Assistance with compilation and analysis of consolidated budgets and long range plans
Preparation of presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management. 
Preparation of ad hoc analyses, as needed.

Background and Skill Set must include:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent work experience
Two plus years of experience working in a Financial Planning or Financial Reporting function. 
Experience with financial modeling
Strong analytical, problem solving skills
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 
Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written

Client Services Coordinator

Autism Home Support Services delivers high quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) throughout Chicago and its far-reaching suburbs. Clients are served by a regional team of professionals that includes a Client Service Coordinator as the hub of communication for client needs and customer satisfaction.

The primary purpose of the Staffing Scheduler and Coordinator position is to assure that Autism Home Support clients are supplied with ABA therapists who possess the skills necessary to meet individual children’s needs on the days/times requested by the client. Additionally, the Client Service Coordinator is responsible for maintaining high employee satisfaction by ensuring that each therapist is working the number of hours they want to work, for clients with whom they enjoy working.

The Staffing Scheduler and Coordinator role is a dynamic one, in that it is similar to a Home Health Agency Administrative Assistant / Scheduler, and includes elements of Human Resources, Recruiting, Customer Service, Technology Support, and Data Entry.

Candidates must have:
• Attention to detail. Strong Excel, Word, Email, and Internet skills. Experience with scheduling technology preferred.
• Experience in high volume agency scheduling of home-based therapy/medical services is preferred.
• Knowledge of Chicago area geography, ability to use Google maps and other similar applications.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing, sense of urgency and ability to respond to client needs.
•Knowledge of essential HR principles in managing remote/field staff and driving employee satisfaction.
• Strong project management, time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Maintain and manage the overall schedules of Care Team, including:
-Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assessments
-Recurring weekly therapy appointments (10-30 weekly hours per child, on teams of 3+ therapy staff).

  • Cancellations and makeup sessions

-Communicate Schedule Updates via calendar, email and phone
-Serve as point of contact for all interactions with clinical team members, administrative associates, parents, and referral sources.
-Regularly request and update client and care team schedules in alignment with school holidays.

Business Analyst/Report Developer

As a Technology BA/RD with AHSS you will be involved in all phases of development from analysis and design through deployment and post-production support for your assigned projects, including reporting & analysis. A key aspect of the job includes the ongoing identification of technical problems and reporting needs and the development of sound, carefully thought-out solutions. A strong commitment to efficiently achieving accurate, detailed work is essential.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Deep knowledge of application programming, database, system design, Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.

Accounting Supervisor

Location: Northbrook, Illinois

The Accounting Supervisor supports the operations of Autism Home Support Services (AHSS) by performing activities involved in financial management and execution of the company. This position reports into the CFO and manages the Accounting Operations team which includes the staff accountant and data entry specialists S/he performs strategic projects as available to drive growth in an entrepreneurial and fast paced environment while also leading and developing the accounting team and performing day-to-day tasks as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to financial inquiries from clients and staff members
Supervise 2-3 accounting staff and monitor daily accounting operations such as daily cash activities and managing working capital including accounts receivable aging and accounts payable transactions
Manage and maintain accounting controls such as bank reconciliation, GL/SL accounts accuracy, credit controls and manage expenses
Manage the preparation of the monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow)
Manage the accounting close and payroll processes
Manage monthly bank account reconciliations
Responsible for ensuring the proper calculations of sales commissions monthly/quarterly
Investigate significant accounting issues and manage external audits
Work closely with Medical Billing in areas related to credit and collection, credit and debit memo processing.
Approve payments/credit memos as required.
Ensure compliance with GAAP
Other financial related duties upon request.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in accounting/finance. CPA preferred but not required
5 years work experience in accounting preferably with experience leading a team
