- Preparation/Structure of Session- Notes, organization, pace, transition, breaks, engagement
- Table Work – Materials, use of SD’s, balance, consistency
- Prompting –Appropriateness, fading, avoiding inadvertent, correction procedures
- Data Collection – Data sheets, recording, flagging
- Reinforcement – Pairing, role of self, differential, labeling, intonation, body language, facial,“working for”, preparation, FUN
- Incidental Teaching/ Programmed Opportunities – Manding, intraverbals, environment, control of reinforcers, motivation
- Behavior Intervention
Quarterly refresher training include updates for First Aid, CPR, Prevention/Physical Intervention , and Teaching Methods. Training is offered for parents and others on a periodic Workshop Fee basis.
Individualized training by experienced Care Team Members and Supervisors is a core component of our program to assure that Care Team Member skills are developed and adapted to individual client needs and are developing to meet competency requirements over time.

Recruiting Coordinator
Job summary:
The purpose for the Recruiting Coordinator position is to assure that AHSS has a steady flow of high quality Care Team Member talent, BCBA’s have support in scheduling interviews, and our recruiting process is efficiently and effectively managed.
Essential Functions:
- Work extensively with computers in fast paced, task oriented environment
- Read and write material in English with fluency
Duties Principle accountabilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES: As a contract employee of AHSS, each person has the responsibility to support the standards as follows: KEY RESPONSIBILITY: Recruiting • Maintain database of applicants and track data to match to needs • Maintain university postings to assure AHSS jobs are listed where visible to appropriate candidates • Posts ads on appropriate websites as needed and field submissions • Contact candidates for interest and availability • Assist in identifying high priority candidate sources and candidates • Coordinate interview schedules including inviting candidates, coordinating interviewers and logistics • Completing notes on each interview in database and filing applications for future use KEY RESPONSIBILITY: Care Team Member Onboarding • Following up on offers including managing applications, offer letters, background screening and drug testing • Manage orientation process including processing of applications, key forms, payroll information, etc. • Assure Care Team Members have SkyDrive Access, Training Information, and key Processes and Procedures KEY RESPONSIBILITY: Care Team Member Training Material Preparation • Copying, printing, and assembling training manual binders • Preparing any other necessary training items PERFORMANCE SKILLS 1. Follow all AHSS policies and procedures designed to maintain client, and contractor’s safety. 2. Work independently and demonstrate effective social influence skills. 3. Demonstrate both problem solving and problem-prevention skills. 4. Demonstrate good communication skills 5. Recognize time as a valuable resource and manage time in an appropriate manner. 6. Work carefully with attention to detail. 7. Display good organizational skills and utilize resources wisely. 8. Maintain confidentiality in all matters pertaining to clients, families, AHSS personnel, and others. 9. AHSS absentee and tardiness procedures should be followed. Compensation: $9/hr part time, flexible hours, from AHSS office; possibility to work from home depending on performance

Financial Analyst INTERN
Job summary: The Financial Analyst supports the Operations of the company by performing activities involved in invoicing, billing, and accounting management. This position works closely with the Operations Director, the Insurance Specialist and, as needed, interfaces with other staff members and clients to drive revenue and manage expense for the company. S/he performs strategic projects as available to drive growth in an entrepreneurial and fast paced environment while also performing menial tasks as necessary.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Prepare biweekly client invoices
- Prepare biweekly payroll for contractors
- Set up new clients, contractors and employees in the financial management system (e.g., Quickbooks)
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basiOther duties as assigned (e.g., quarterly reporting)
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience- $10-15/hr or college credit

• Pursing bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or business management

BCBA Supervisor
Autism Home Support Services wants you to join our team as we launch a new, technology supported service to families of children with Autism in the Chicago area.
Responsibilities include 15-40 hours a week of assessment of children with autism in their home to determine appropriate learning and behavior goals, development of individualized learning and behavior plans, and supervision of up to 15 In-Home para-professional staff with varying levels of prior experience and training with children on the spectrum. Full-time opportunity includes health insurance and opportunities for advancement.

Skills Coach for children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders)
Are you an energetic, caring person with keen observational skills and ABA ( Applied Behavior Analysis) experience looking for a part-time contracting job?
Responsibilities include 10-20 (and potentially up to 40) hours a week of structured one-on-one interaction/instruction with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in their home, school and/or a community setting. This may include maintaining and furthering skills from the child’s IEP (Individual Education Plan) and executing an AHSS Care Plan via ABA techniques as well as attending to physical needs of the child. Skills Coaches provide observational data based reports on the learning progress of their clients.
Skills Coaches will receive training in working with children with autism including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. They will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
