by Jessy McCulloch, Events & Social Media Marketing Coordinator

art team 12.2.15Have you heard about the Autism Response Team (ART)? They’re a group of Autism Speaks staff members from around the country specifically “…dedicated to connecting individuals with autism, their families, and all other members of the autism community to information, tools, and resources.”

In celebration of Autism Speaks’ 10 Years of Progress, they’ve each put together a 10-themed blog with autism tips, strategies, and resources! For example:

10 Ways My House Looks Different From Yours: “We have locks, locks, and more locks.”

10 Ingredients in the ‘Alphabet Soup’ of Autism:  EI (Early Intervention), IFSP (Individual Family Service Plan), ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), and more!

10 Ways to Build Independence from Preschool to High School:  These tips are grouped into Early Childhood and Preschool Age, Middle School-Beginning of Adolescence, and High School Age categories!

Visit the Autism Speaks website to see more blogs and tips from ART! The positive feedback they’ve gotten continues to roll in:

“Thank you so much for this wealth of information! It’s nice to find a place with some support for families like ours. No one can do it all alone!”
