“When my client began services with AHSS, she had difficulty following 1-step directions, maintaining attention to tasks, engaging in cooperative play with peers, and she typically used scripted language. Since March 2011, she has made tremendous progress in all of these areas and more! She has been in a self-contained special education classroom since kindergarten and just this past school year began to spend part of her day in the general education class. At her most recent IEP, the entire team agreed that she is ready to start the 3rd grade! The team and the client’s family have worked so hard to help her. We couldn’t be prouder!”
