Mississippi has not yet passed an autism insurance mandate, but that will soon change! Last month, both the Mississippi Senate and House passed bills mandating autism services coverage for children ages two through eight. While ideally children of all ages would be covered, this bill will help families across the state.
Everyone deserves to reach their potential, and the Mississippi bill gives countless individuals on the autism spectrum the opportunity to receive the therapy they need. AHSS wants each child to achieve their hopes and dreams, and now hundreds of children on the spectrum will have that chance.
