Alphabet Car Wash Sensory Bin
“Working at the car wash” takes on a whole new meaning when it helps your kiddo fine tune their motor skills, practice sharing, and work on letter recognition and spelling. This easy DIY activity will keep kids entertained for hours.
Materials
- Shaving Cream
- Toy Cars
- Alphabet Magnets
- 2 Craft Trays or Sensory Bins
- Fine Motor Tweezers
- Spray Bottle with Water
- Towels
Simply fill one bin with shaving cream and add the toy cars and alphabet magnets. Using the tweezers, kids can pick up the cars and place them into the empty bin and then use the spray bottle to wash the shaving cream off. To work on letter recognition and spelling, have your kids focus on picking up certain letters or spelling particular words. Whatever you choose, there’s no wrong way to play!
