Students with autism have difficulties with communication. One evidence-based approach to enhancing their communication is the Analysis of Verbal Behavior. In this 2-day Verbal Behavior workshop, the Analysis of Verbal Behavior will be described as well as how it is embedded in Applied Behavior Analysis. The Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) will be introduced. Participants will leave with the beginnings of implementing the VB-MAPP.
