In this workshop, research-based ways to assess the function of behavior will be offered. Focus will be placed on teaching replacement behaviors and matching these replacement behaviors with the function. Participants will leave with the beginnings of an FBA/BIP for one of their students.
ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:
Marrea Winnega, PhD, BCBA, Director of School Consulting for AHSS, earned her PhD in Psychology from UIC where she also served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology & Director of Autism Services. Dr. Winnega is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than 20 years of post-doctoral experience working with children on the spectrum, families, & educators.
Johnna Soler, MA, BCBA, Educational Services BCBA for AHSS, earned her MA in Clinical Psychology where she also served as an adjunct professor. Johnna is a Board Certified Be-havior Analyst with a passion for creating ideal learning environments and identifying ways to accelerate learning.
