Support for children with ASD across multiple disciplines
In-Home ABA Therapy
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy uses basic behavioral practices like positive reinforcement, practice, and prompting to teach age-appropriate skills and reduce harmful or challenging behaviors. The advantage of in-home ABA therapy is that it is customized to work with your child in his or her natural environment and takes into account everyday triggers and family dynamics. Early Learners Group
These all-day or half-day small group sessions are designed to help your child begin learning age-appropriate skills. These skills will help your child become more classroom-ready so that he or she is better able to adapt and succeed when it’s time to go to school. Learn more about AHSS Early Learners Group >

Speech Language Therapy
Our speech language pathologists specialize in treating children on the spectrum. Individualized therapy provides treatment, support, and care for children who have difficulties communicating, eating, drinking, and swallowing. Learn more about Speech Language Therapy>

Parent Coaching
Our parent coaching program is designed to help you understand and participate in your child’s skill development. This type of coaching helps build on the work your child is doing in his or her individual therapy plan.

Center-Based ABA Therapy
AHSS Autism Centers use the same ABA behavioral practices as in-home therapy, but in a structured, controlled environment. This type of environment can increase motivation in your child, encourage new and emerging skills, and promote positive behaviors. Learn more about AHSS Autism Centers >

Behavior Management
AHSS offers therapy to build age-appropriate skills and to decrease or eliminate troublesome behaviors that may be preventing your child from learning or interacting socially. These behaviors may include: noncompliance, tantrums, bed-wetting, feeding problems, aggression, and self-injury.

Group Social Skills Training
Learning to work and play within a group is critical to positive social and academic interactions. Our groups consist of kids on the spectrum as well as neurotypical kids to develop skills such as taking turns, teamwork, social awareness, and sharing.

Hybrid Home/Center Therapy
Hybrid ABA therapy allows your child to work on some behaviors at home and others in the AHSS Autism Center. This type of therapy maximizes the unique benefits of each setting to improve your child’s progress and skill development.

School Consultations
AHSS provides ABA therapy services in schools for students aged three to 21. Our school consultants collaborate with you, your child’s teachers, and school administrators to help your child reach his or her full potential. Learn more about School Consultations >
